… it all began when I was living with my family in Ireland. Our daughter was born and I was spending all my time at home with her. I really enjoyed it! When my daughter grew older, I realised I should try to start a small business of my own. I’ve always liked crafts, when a friend of mine told me about Etsy, I opened my first Etsy shop.
The first item I sold was a table runner from doilies bought by an Israeli woman for her mother’s birthday! I was sooo excited! Somebody has liked my handmade item enough to purchase it! In the course of time not only brides were purchasing my wedding accessories and table textile but also agencies that decorate events in order to rent them out to the brides.
… generating ideas. I very much enjoy early mornings with a cup of coffee while working on flower arrangements. Very special moment for me is lighting the candles at wedding venue. And of course, HAPPY clients. When the newlywed wife tells how her eyes filled up with tears from the beauty when she entered the reception room….
I guess, the craziest moment while decorating an event is to wait until the last moment to see, will it rain or not! Especially when the event is planned outdoors, and there’s no plan B.
